Mary Ella + Jeremiah's Enchanted Gnome Wedding // Rockefeller Lodge // San Pablo, CA
There are fairytale themed weddings and then there are weddings straight out of a fairytale – Mary Ella and Jeremiah’s was the latter. The venue was Rockefeller Lodge in San Pablo, California, and its outcroppings of moss and giant folk-art-carved door were already pure magic. Add in Mary Ella and Jeremiah’s garden gnome reception details, her enchanting red shoes and the enormity of their love and let’s face it: you can’t get much more fairytale than that.
Except it turns out you can. It is a rare thing to see a couple as madly in love as these two, and everywhere we turned there was some new magic moment to catch – endless hugs from family and friends, stolen kisses in the garden when they thought no one was looking, a nighttime dance in sparkling sprinkles of rain. Their farewell, though, was probably our favorite part of the night: all of the remaining guests gathered in the gazebo and serenaded Mary Ella and Jeremiah with old love songs while the couple danced in the center of the crowd. Did I mention everyone was also blowing bubbles? Like we said - pure magic.
Mary Ella and Jeremiah, your love is so huge that it’s almost ridiculous. We feel so lucky to have been a part of your day. We hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we do!
