Lisa + Paul's Joyous Mountaintop Wedding // Anvil Ranch and Vineyard // Annapolis, CA

It’s hard to capture just how serene Anvil Ranch and Vineyard is as a venue. It’s certainly the most remote place we’ve shot, tucked on top of a mountain as it is, no cities or even other properties for miles. We were last there a few years ago and it was a joy to get asked to go back for Lisa and Paul’s nuptials. Anvil Ranch, which is set up to house dozens of people, is the sort of wedding venue you only pick when you’re super tight with your family and friends, since it’s so remote that you’re stuck with them for the weekend. Lisa and Paul were no exception in that regard – the laughter and tears were flowing from their guests all day and night.

I don’t want to ruin all the surprises in these pictures, but expect some incredible vistas, slick graphic design, a flower girl in traditional Korean hanbok, succulents galore and a killer Asian Fusion food truck. How Adam’s Grub Truck made it up and down that mountain on those narrow roads will forever be a mystery to me. Thank you, Lisa and Paul, for letting me be a part of your cool, laid back, snarky wedding day! I’d party with you and your friends anytime. Especially if there are more of those waffle fries.
