This June, Justin and I were lucky enough to shoot the wedding of two of our favorite people in the world - old friends from back in our graduate school days. With camera gear stowed safely in the trunk of our car, we trekked our way up to Roseburg, Oregon and photographed their gorgeous garden nuptials. Our friends are private people and prefer that we don't include shots of their faces or those of their guests, but we couldn't resist sharing a few of our favorite details from this vintage-linen-filled wedding.
The ceremony and reception were small - held in the garden of the bride's childhood home - and all the details were curated and/or made by friends and family, including the vibrant ripped-fabric wedding banner and perfectly mismatched flower centerpieces. Hopefully this DIY masterpiece will provide inspiration to other couples out there (and proof that a wedding doesn't need to break the bank in order to be beautiful). Enjoy!
