I began last year's wrap-up blog post with a throw-away line about how 2016 was a wild ride. After 2017, I wonder if I even knew what the word "wild" meant. IT WAS A MORE NAIVE TIME, GUYS, LET ME TELL YOU.
Honestly, doing this job was a huge part of what got Justin and I through this year: come Saturday, we'd shake off the mind-bending chaos of the week and immerse ourselves in the sublime chaos of someone else's wedding day. We are so thankful to the couples we met this year, for every moment we spent laying in the dirt or climbing on a rickety picnic table to get the perfect shot. I cried behind the camera at multiple weddings and full-on ugly-cried at one, which is really a testament to how many incredible couples we worked with this year.
So, thank you. Thank you to everyone who hired us, everyone who supported and loved us, everyone who recommended us to their friends and family. These are some our favorite moments from the past year. Despite, or maybe because of the chaos, 2017 was one of our best.
