Weddings are full of joy - that's a given. But every once in a while, there's a special alchemy that happens at a wedding, a convergence of a couple so suited to one another that they seem to radiate with happiness and a location that's not only beautiful but also holds a special significance in the couple's lives. And, of course, a merry band of guests that come to cry, laugh and dance the night away in celebration. Mere and Cora's wedding had all of this and more. Going through the pictures afterwards, it was difficult to find a shot where the subjects weren't beaming, be they the brides themselves or their families and friends.
The details of the wedding were already breathtaking - Mere and Cora tied the knot on a friend's property, a series of homes and outbuildings nestled in a secluded redwood forest in Los Gatos. Mere's white suit and Cora's white dress were set off beautifully by their classic red rose boutonniere and bouquet. Their fierce and funny flower girls wore crowns of flowers and ribbons in their hair. By the end of the night, everyone was either eating peach pie out of tiny mason jars in front of the campfire or dancing to the greatest girl power playlist ever (think Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Dancing Queen). Which is all just to say that this wedding would have been gorgeous no matter what. Add in the overwhelming love shared between the brides and their guests and the day was transformed to pure magic.
